The Boojum Proof System: Advancing Ethereum’s Scaling Solution

The Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution, zkSync Era, has recently introduced a groundbreaking proof system called Boojum. Boojum, based on the Scalable Transparent Argument of Knowledge (STARK) technology, offers significant advancements in terms of scalability and accessibility. Unlike its predecessors, Boojum is designed to run on consumer-grade general processing units (GPUs), making it accessible to everyday users.

The Need for Scaling Protocols
