Snoop Dogg’s NFT passport allows fans to tour with him digitally.

The famous rapper and entrepreneur Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., widely known as Snoop Dogg, has once again entered the world of Web3 with a new non-fungible token (NFT) project that allows his fans to stay updated on his tour life.

The project, called the Snoop Dogg Passport Series, is an NFT collection that gives holders access to exclusive content such as behind-the-scenes videos and photos taken by Snoop Dogg while on tour. Holders will also be eligible for future releases of artwork and merchandise.

Snoop Dogg believes that digital merchandise is the future and encourages other artists to follow his lead: “I’m hoping other artists can see what I’m doing and continue to innovate on their own,” he said in a statement.

The project was developed in partnership with the Web3 platform Transient Labs. Chris Ostoich, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, said that the partnership with Snoop Dogg allows them to leverage blockchain technology and offer unique experiences.

Snoop Dogg has been actively involved in various Web3 projects for some time. In 2021, he revealed himself as the anonymous NFT collector “Cozomo de’ Medici,” whose wallet was worth $17.6 million at the time.

Aside from collecting NFTs, Snoop Dogg has also collaborated with fellow rapper Eminem to showcase the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection. The duo even released a song and performed it at the MTV Music Awards.

On March 6, Snoop Dogg was announced as the co-founder of a Web3-powered live-streaming platform called Shiller, alongside tech entrepreneur Sam Jones. The app aims to combine Web3 technology with real-time streaming content.
