Fireblocks supports AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud now.

The cryptocurrency custody technology provider, Fireblocks, has announced that it now supports cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, Alibaba Cloud, Thales, and Securosus.

This move is part of Fireblocks’ plans to expand its services to a broader range of businesses, including banks with on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure. According to a spokesperson, this will enable Fireblocks to serve a wider market.

With these new additions, the enterprise platform now covers the majority of the cloud industry’s market share.

Fireblocks has already brought over 50 major financial institutions, including BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, and Australian bank ANZ Bank, into the digital asset space by providing infrastructure support. Other clients include Robinhood and fintech company Revolut.

The Switzerland-based company received the Cryptocurrency Security Standard (CCSS) in December 2020, becoming the first company to receive this certification. It was created as a security standard for crypto wallets and custody.
